The vilest villains have the most convincing disguise, they are inconspicuous and unassuming; they hide their ego beneath a costume of mediocrity. Walter White is the ultimate super villain. He wears schoolteacher clothes – windbreakers and slacks, he walks with a hunch that both blends him into a crowd and makes him appear beaten down and world weary, his lined, bespectacled face speaks nothing of the evil within him. He’s such a horrible man that he’s using the disease that’s attempting to eat him alive as a weapon to invoke sympathy from people who trust and love him. Walt’s manipulation of Walter Jr. and Jesse were both chilling signs that nothing exists inside this man but an unquenchable need to best every obstacle that stands in his way.
