Courtney Love photographed by Herb Ritts
What an amazing, revealing photograph. You can see her breast augmentation scars and her K tattoo (for Kurt) - these two elements of Courtney Love’s body speaking so much about her as a person, about her life. The framing of the shot is especially inspired when you’re photographing someone who is so noted for her emotions, for her voice, to not photograph her face.
