Amy Adams and Viggo Mortenson join the cast of On The Road  Francis Ford Coppola has been working for 30 years to turn Jack Kerouac’s seminal Beat Generation novel On the Road into a movie. It is starting to look like it was worth the wait. Amy Adams and Viggo Mortensen are joining the Walter Salles-directed adaptation that will begin this month.  Mortensen will play Bull Lee, a character based on William S. Burroughs. Adams will play Jane, a character based on Joan Vollmer, Lee’s drug-addicted wife and mother of two children. Kirsten Dunst, Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley and Tron: Legacy’s Garrett Hedlund are also set for the pic.  The film began production yesterday in Montreal. from here Viggo + Amy Adams + Kristen Stewart?  This movie’s starting to feel worth of the novel.
