I want to thank the hilarious boys that sat behind SB & me at the theatre tonight for making the half hour of commercials & silly interview drudgery before Prometheus started fully entertaining. Here are some examples of their zingers:
During one of those actor photo reveals where the question was: “Is this Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Marion Cotillard?”
Boy #1: Anne Hathaway!
Boy #2: (as Anne’s face revealed) No, that’s Joseph Gordon-LevittDuring a facts about Andrew Garfield segment: “He’s an ACCOMPLISHED GYMNAST!” *elated giggles*
During an animated commercial: “I love this guy!”
Commercial: Who’s your favourite actor-turned-director? Clint Eastwood, Ben Affleck or Sofia Coppola?
Boy: SOFIA COPPOLA!During a segment interviewing a Canadian singer: “I listened to this album on YouTube. It’s TERRIBLE!”
During a Rimmel commercial with Georgia May Jagger:
Boy #1: That’s not Kate Moss!
Boy #2: That’s Kate Moss.
Boy #1: No! Is that Kate Moss? That’s not Kate Moss!When told to put on 3D glasses: “Why is everything so blurry?”
And then they fell into complete rapt silence during the entire movie. Wonderful! I think I want to adopt them.
